David's photographs have appeared in Photo Life, BC Magazine, Okanagan Life and numerous UK magazines. He co-authored four regional guide books in the UK during the late 1980s and was a regular freelance feature photographer and writer for "Practical Boat Owner", Britain's top selling yachting magazine.
He has been flying since he was 17 years old and holds a commercial pilots license. He has also built several aircraft and flown across Canada in an ultra-light. He is best known in Canada for his commercial and fine-art aerial photography. He has had solo exhibitions at the Kamloops and Vernon public art galleries.
David has also built sailboats and in the early '90s lived aboard a 26' catamaran which he sailed around the west coasts of the British Isles. He loves to be in the outdoors and enjoys hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing.
David lives in Coldstream, near the City of Vernon in the BC Okanagan, with his wife Jilly and their Portuguese Water Dog, Maio. |
